How to Make Cheesy Chicken Crescent Ring

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
  2. Shred the leftover chicken.
  3. Use a large bowl and add the cream cheese, hot sauce, leftover chicken, half of your mozzarella, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix everything into a smooth mixture.
  4. Spread the puff pastry sheet over a wooden board. Split it in halves, and then in quarters. Slice each quarter diagonally into 2 triangles.
  5. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Use the triangles to make a ring shape. Leave an empty hole in the middle.
  6. You can place a glass or a small bowl as a center to help you create the circle around the rim.
  7. Add the Cheddar and spoon the chicken mixture closest to the center of the ring. Add the remaining mozzarella.

  1. Preheat the oven to 360°F/180°C.
  2. Spread a thin layer of melted butter on the bottom of an oven tray.
  3. Place the first phyllo sheet in the tray. Spread 1 tablespoon of melted butter over it. Top it with another phyllo pastry, add 1 tablespoon of melted butter and spread evenly a handful of walnuts and a handful of shredded chocolate. Add another sheet of phyllo pastry, spread 1 tablespoon of melted butter, a handful of walnuts and a handful of shredded chocolate. Continue with the remaining ingredients, until you use all the phyllo pastry (you should use around 9-10 sheets for the baklava).

  5. In the meantime, place the puff pastry on your working surface. Slice it in 8-10 squares, around 2 inches (5 cm) long.
