¼ red onion, chopped
6 ounces of dried beans
½ cup tomato sauce

parsley
How to Make Stewed White Beans With Tomato Sauce
- Heat a skillet and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add red onion and cook until it softens, for a couple of minutes.
- Add beans and tomato sauce and let them simmer for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and when it has finished cooking add parsley.
- You can also serve this side dish with fried eggs and sausages.
