Semolina Porridge With Honey-Poached Quince

This is one of those foods, in this case, a dessert, that most people ate “since I was a child”. For our semolina porridge, we used no sugar at all. Instead, we poached the quince wedges in honey. This honey-sweet and mildly sour combo is an unbeatable pairing.
Ingredients Needed for Semolina Porridge With Honey-Poached Quince

½ cup semolina
½ quince, cored and wedged
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon almonds, ground
