Drumsticks are one of the tastiest chicken bits you can find. You know what else is tasty? Bacon, of course. You can wrap the fried and seasoned drumsticks in bacon, cook them some more in the oven, and then simply enjoy the double delicious results!

Ingredients Needed for Bacon-Wrapped Spicy Drumsticks

    4 chicken drumsticks
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 tablespoon soy sauce
    1 tablespoon brown sugar
    1 teaspoon thyme powder
    vegetable oil for cooking
    8 bacon

How to Make Bacon-Wrapped Spicy Drumsticks

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F/175 degrees C.
  2. Add the drumsticks to a bowl.
  3. Add olive oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper over them.
  4. Add thyme powder and rub every drumstick with all ingredients.
  5. Heat oil in a cast-iron skillet to a medium high temperature.
  6. Fry the drumsticks in the skillet until they turn a golden brown color.
  7. Wrap the drumsticks in 2 bacon slices each.
  8. Cook them in the oven for 20 minutes.
  9. Serve with rice.
