Ingredients Needed for Sweet Corn and Shrimp With Peas

For the shrimp mixture:

2 teaspoons of vegetable oil
1 small onion, diced
0.5 medium fennel, chopped
1 celery stick, chopped
1 fresh chili, chopped
10 ounces of shrimp
1 teaspoon soy sauce
salt
pepper
3 ounces of sweet corn
1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped

For the peas:

1 cup peas
salt
pepper
2 teaspoons of lime juice

How to Make Sweet Corn and Shrimp With Peas

  1. For the shrimp mixture:

    Heat the oil in a skillet over low heat. Add the onion, fennel, celery, and chili. Stir for up to 1 minute.

  2. Add the shrimp, soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Cook and stir for up to 2 minutes.
  3. Add the sweet corn and dill. Cook and stir for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat.
  4. For the peas:

    Fill a medium-sized cooking pot with water and bring to a boil. Add the peas and boil 5 minutes.

  5. Transfer the peas to a bowl, season with salt and pepper, and add the lemon juice. Mash them using a hand masher.
