Puff Pastry Chili Sausages

If your day was a bit boring and kind of routine, maybe you need to spice up your life a little! Start with the food – these bacon-wrapped sausages dressed in puff pastry and sprinkled with chili flakes, for a dinner or friend gathering that lights your fire!

Ingredients Needed for Puff Pastry Chili Sausages

4 sausages
8 bacon
vegetable oil for cooking
⅔ puff pastry sheet, thawed
1 egg
½ cup milk
1 tablespoon chili flakes

How to Cook Puff Pastry Chili Sausages

  1. Preheat the oven to 360 degrees F/180 degrees C.
  2. Wrap the sausages in 2 slices of bacon each.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a cast-iron skillet to a medium high temperature.
  4. Fry the bacon-wrapped sausages in the skillet for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Cut the puff pastry sheet into 4 pieces.
  6. Wrap each sausage in puff pastry. Remove the excess at the edges.
  7. Use a fork on the sides of the puff pastry sausages and then stick them each 3 times. So that the sausages inside can breathe.
  8. Make egg wash by whisking the egg and the milk.
  9. Use a silicone brush to coat the pastry in egg wash.
  10. Sprinkle chili flakes over the pastry sausages.
  11. Cook in the oven for 25 minutes.
