Skewers are a great snack, but they’re usually only as good as the ingredients you slide on them. Luckily for us, we’re diehard fans of both prosciutto and sweet potato. You can also add some veggies, if you prefer, and even a few slices of mozzarella cheese. And by the way, for this recipe it’s better to cook it in the oven, because grilling them can easily burn the prosciutto.

Ingredients Needed for Prosciutto and Sweet Potato Skewers

4 prosciuttos slices ½ red bell pepper, sliced ½ yellow bell pepper, sliced 0.5 green bell pepper, sliced 3 ounces of mozzarella, thinly sliced 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 teaspoon pepper salt

How to Make Prosciutto and Sweet Potato Skewers

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F/175°C.
  2. Place all of the ingredients on a wooden board.
  3. Divide the ingredients in 2 separate piles.
  4. Slide the ingredients through 2 wooden skewers.
  5. Drizzle the skewers with olive oil and season with a bit of pepper.
  6. Roast the skewers for 30 minutes.
