Green Pea Soup

It can be tempting to make cream soup with a lot of veggies, for a fuller flavor. We recommend that you try the opposite! Choose one main ingredient to make soup with a more intense flavor. You can start off with green peas: they were made to be creamy!

Ingredients Needed for Green Pea Soup

4 ounces of green peas
salt
¼ cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon butter
¼ cup vegetable stock

How to Cook Green Pea Soup

  1. Put some water in a saucepan and add salt. Boil it.
  2. Add the green peas and boil it for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Put the peas in a blender.
  4. Add the heavy cream, the vegetable stock, and sprinkle some salt.
  5. Blend them together.
  6. Pour the cream soup in a bowl and, if you want, add 1 tablespoon of heavy cream on top.
