Who knew a bowl of veggie rice could be so delicious? We’ve added some ginger powder and salt into the water when we' ve boiled the rice so that’s where its flavor comes from. We’ve also added bell peppers, parsley, some mixed seeds and peanuts, which bring a nice amount of crunch to the experience. Drizzle some olive oil, mix, serve, and most important, enjoy!

Ingredients Needed for Crunchy Veggie Rice

1 teaspoon ginger powder
salt
5 ounces of rice
1 red bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
parsley
1 ounce mixed seed
1 ounce peanut
1 tablespoon olive oil

How to Make Crunchy Veggie Rice

  1. Heat a saucepan, fill it with water, and bring it to a boil. Add the ginger powder and a pinch of salt. Throw in the rice and cook it according to the instructions on the package.
  2. Slice and mince both bell peppers. Mince the parsley.
  3. When the rice is done, move it into a large bowl. Add mixed seeds and peanuts. Pour olive oil. Add bell peppers and parsley and stir.
  4. You can serve it as a side for a good steak, or even on its own!
