3.5 ounces of fresh squid, sliced
1 cup flour
cayenne pepper
salt
vegetable oil
4 lemons wedges
4 ounces of salad mix
How to Cook Crispy Fried Squid With Salad
- Place the squid between paper towels and press gently to absorb some of its moisture.
- Add the flour to a bowl. Add cayenne pepper and some salt and mix. Coat the squid pieces with this mixture. Make sure you remove the excess flour by sifting the squid rings.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over high heat, then deep-fry the squid rings until they turn golden brown and crunchy (about 3 minutes).
- Serve the squid rings on a bed of salad mix, with some lemon wedges.
