Ingredients Needed for Crispy Fried Squid With Salad

3.5 ounces of fresh squid, sliced
1 cup flour
cayenne pepper
salt
vegetable oil
4 lemons wedges
4 ounces of salad mix

How to Make Crispy Fried Squid With Salad

  1. Place the squid between paper towels and press gently to absorb some of its moisture.
  2. Add the flour to a bowl. Add cayenne pepper and some salt and mix. Coat the squid pieces with this mixture. Make sure you remove the excess flour by sifting the squid rings.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over high heat, then deep-fry the squid rings until they turn golden brown and crunchy (about 3 minutes).
  4. Serve the squid rings on a bed of salad mix, with some lemon wedges.
