- Transfer it to an oven bag. Get the potatoes in there, too. CLose the bag with its tie.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper and transfer the oven bag on it. Bake for 50 minutes at 380⁰F/190⁰C.
- Optionally, serve with lemon wedges.
What exact kind of allspice seasoning is that?
You just spotted a mistake, Kimberly. Initially, we wanted to add allspice, too but in the end, we settled for a herby Knorr seasoning. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience. ?
What spices did you use that came from Knorr??? The recipe says “allspice”. But allspice is a single spice that is dark brown. The video obviously shows an orangy-brown spice rub with bits of green herbs in it. I would give this a try but i would hate to waste an entire chicken.
Yes, this was an oversight on our part. What you and Kimberly spotted is the result of mingling two different plans. The initial plan was to also add allspice but after some debating, we settled for a herby seasoning. Somewhere on the way to our final product, things got confused. The thing is, roasted chicken can be very well seasoned with most of the seasoning mixtures out there with or without allspice being added to it. We apologize and thank you! ?
Which Knorr seasoning did you use?
Our Knorr package had oregano, ginger, pepper, turmeric, and cardamom.
So what are you trying to say can we rub whatever we want on this chicken, I’m confused in what your using here, it is in a packet I presume but what is it.
We used a seasoning blend with oregano, ginger, pepper, turmeric, and cardamom. You can easily add allspice, too.
How big is the chicken?
Hi, Laurie. This guy had somewhere between 2 to 3 pounds.
Can you do this on a gas grill, wrapped in foil?
We didn’t try this yet but why not after all? Why don’t you give it a try and let us know? Experimenting is good!
If you use a grill, do it in the roasting bag sitting on a pan to keep the bag from melting or being punctured.
Roger! 👍
