Ingredients Needed for Pork Pie

1 cup flour
salt
2 ounces of butter, at room temperature
1 egg
1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
cold water
¼ cup milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 onion, diced
1 pound pork mince
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon clove powder
¾ cup tomato sauce
3 potatoes, cubed
1 egg yolk, whisked

How to Make Pork Pie

  1. Add the flour, some salt, butter, egg, white wine vinegar, 2-3 tablespoons of cold water, and the milk to a bowl.
  2. Knead until you make a firm and non-sticky dough.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet and cook the onion until it softens.
  4. Add the pork mince and stir, cooking further until the meat bleaches. Season with salt, then add water to cover the meat. Let it simmer until the water reduces.
  5. Add the cinnamon, clove powder, and tomato sauce. Cook for 3-4 more minutes, then set aside.
  6. Boil the potato cubes, then mash them. Add the mashed potatoes to the meat mixture and stir.
  7. Flour your workspace and roll out the dough using a rolling pin. Grease a ceramic baking pan with butter.
  8. Add the pork mixture to the baking pan, then cover it with the dough sheet. Cut the excess edges of the dough, then coat the top with whisked yolk.
  9. Bake the pie for 30 minutes at 400ËšF/200ËšC.

10 ounces of ground beef
3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 onion, diced
½ cup tomato sauce
salt
pepper
7 ounces of mushroom, cubed
1 tablespoon flour
¼ cup beef stock
2 tablespoons of worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon butter
1 puff pastry sheet, thawed
1 egg yolk, whisked

How to Make Ground Beef Pie

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet and add the ground beef to it. Cook on medium heat, stirring often until the meat turns brown.
  2. Add the diced onion, stir, and cook further. When the onion softens a little, add the tomato sauce. Reduce the heat and let it simmer.
  3. Season with salt and pepper, then add the mushrooms and flour. Stir, add the beef stock and Worcestershire sauce and continue cooking on low.
  4. Grease a square ceramic pan (8×8 inches) with butter. Roll out the puff pastry (keep some to cover the pie) and place it on the bottom and edges of the pan. Add the meat filling to the pan, then cover with the remaining pastry and stick its edges.
  5. Make some small pricks into the pastry using a fork, then coat the pie with whisked yolk. Bake for 25 minutes at 400ËšF/200ËšC.

1 teaspoon garam masala
7 ounces of shrimp
2 eggs
vegetable oil for frying
2 baguettes
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
4 fluid ounces of salad mix
1 tomato, thinly sliced
2 pickles, thinly sliced

How to Make Crispy Shrimp Sandwich

  1. Add the breadcrumbs in a large bowl. Season them with cayenne pepper, dried oregano, and garam masala. Mix everything.
  2. Coat the shrimp with the whisked eggs and breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the shrimp until golden and crispy.
  4. Horizontally slice the baguettes and spread 1 teaspoon of mayo over each.
  5. Make the sandwich with shrimp, salad mix, tomato, and pickle. Finish the sandwich with the top side of the baguette.
