3 medium pears
1 puff pastry sheet
¼ cup milk
5 ounces of vanilla ice cream
caramel topping (optional)
How to Cook Pears in Puff Pastry With Ice Cream on Top
- Cut the base of the pears, halve them, and remove the core using a melon baller or a teaspoon.
- Place each pear on the work surface flat side down and wrap it with pastry sheet.
- Place the wrapped pears flat side down on a parchment paper-lined baking tray. Brush them with milk, then bake for 20 minutes at 360⁰F/180⁰C.
- Serve them flat side up, topped with vanilla ice cream and caramel topping.
