Meat spring rolls and Italian pasta, together in one dish? Sounds like a strange combination, but we promise it works! Especially if you fry the cannelloni, instead of cooking them in the oven, like lasagna. Fill them, fry them, and then eat them quickly, while they’re still warm!

Ingredients Needed for Fried Cannelloni

12 cannellonis
6 ounces of minced meat
vegetable oil for frying
salt
pepper
½ cup flour
1 egg
2 tablespoons of milk
½ cup breadcrumbs

How to Make Fried Cannelloni

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Pour water into a large bowl.
  2. Soak the cannelloni in hot water for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and cook the minced meat. Season it with salt and pepper.
  4. Fill each cannelloni with mince.
  5. Coat the cannelloni with flour, egg wash, and breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat some vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the cannelloni for 4-5 minutes.
  7. If you want, serve with a tomato dip!
