Do you like frankfurters? We have a pocket in the refrigerator almost anytime! So take them off, slice them and fry them in a few drops of vegetable oil. Make a quick sauce with onion and season it with curry and paprika or the spices that you like most. When you serve them, mix in a bowl some French fries and the frankfurters and pour on them the sweet-salty sauce. Ingredients Needed for Frankfurters With Onion Sauce

1 onion
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 teaspoon curry
1 teaspoon paprika powder
1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
salt
pepper
¼ cup tomato sauce
¼ cup water
3 frankfurters
3.5 ounces of french fries
1 teaspoon dill, chopped

How to Make Frankfurters With Onion Sauce

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet.
  2. Chop the onion and cook it until it becomes translucent.
  3. Add the curry, the paprika, and the balsamic vinegar.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the tomato juice and the water and simmer.
  6. Cut in 0.4-inch/1 cm slices the frankfurters.
  7. Cook the frankfurters slices in the remaining vegetable oil heated about 2 minutes.
  8. Place the frankfurters and the French fries on a plate and pour on them the onion sauce.
  9. Serve warm!
