Ingredients Needed for Chicken Stew With Bell Peppers

½ cup flour
4 chicken thighs
vegetable oil for frying
3 bacon
2 onions s sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 cup diced tomato
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 ounce redcurrant
1 cup chicken stock

How to Make Chicken Stew With Bell Peppers

  1. Heat a skillet and add the vegetable oil. Coat the chicken thighs with flour and start frying them.
  2. Cook them for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden and crispy. When ready, take them out of the pan.
  3. Heat another skillet and fry the bacon slices until golden and crispy.
  4. Add the onion in a saucepan and let it cook for about 1 minute, until it begins to look golden. Add the bell pepper slices, diced tomatoes, redcurrant, chicken stock and bring to a boil. Add the cooked chicken and fried bacon. Put a lid on and let it simmer for about 25 minutes.
  5. Serve warm!
