Ingredients Needed for Salmon Pastries With Spinach and Cheese
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 red onion, chopped
½ red bell pepper, small dices
2 ounces of baby spinach

7 ounces of ricotta
7 ounces of cream cheese
2 tablespoons of fresh dill, chopped
1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
1 pound salmon, 2 fillets
egg wash
sesame seeds
For the parmesan sauce:
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
4 garlic cloves
7 ounces of cream cheese
½ cup parmesan
fresh basil leaves
How to Make Salmon Pastries With Spinach and Cheese
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the red pepper, onion, spinach, and give it a good stir. Season with salt, pepper, and cook everything for 2 minutes.
- Next, mix the ricotta and cream cheese with a spatula in a large bowl. Season with salt, pepper, add some fresh dill and mix until smooth.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F/175 degrees C.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the pastry over it.
- Divide the pastry into 2 sections. Add the spinach in the middle of each section, and top it with 1 salmon fillet.
- Evenly spread cream mixture over the salmon.
- Wrap the salmon in pastry. Superficially score it on the surface. Use a brush and spread egg wash over the pastries. Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top.

- Slide the tray into the oven for the next 30 minutes.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic cloves and the cream cheese.
- Give it a good stir until the cheese melts. Add the parmesan and fresh basil leaves. Season the sauce with salt and pepper.
- Simmer it on heat for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes smooth.
