Ingredients Needed for Basic Oatmeal
1 cup rolled oats
2 cups of water
salt

How to Make Basic Oatmeal
- Heat a saucepan over medium heat, add the rolled oats and pour the water.
- Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Give it a good stir.
- Cook the oats until the water is absorbed for a maximum of 5 minutes.
- Rememeber: Use a ratio of 1 cup of oats per 2 cups water.
