Pan-Fried Cod With Capers

In 15 minutes, tops, you can have these soft and crispy cod fillets right on your table. The flour coating will do its thing when you fry the fillets leaving their interior smooth. Spike them a little by tossing paprika into the flour bowl. Complete this dish with a lemony caper sauce.

Ingredients Needed for Pan-Fried Cod With Capers

10 ounces of cod fillets (3 fillets)
¼ cup flour
1 teaspoon paprika
3 tablespoons of capers
2 tablespoons of lime juice

How to Cook Pan-Fried Cod With Capers

  1. Place the cod fillets on the work surface. Season them both sides with salt and pepper. Set aside.
  2. Add the flour and paprika to a bowl. Mix until even.
  3. Heat 2 – 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Coat the fillets with the flour mixture. Fry them for 2 – 3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Remove from heat.
  4. Mix the capers and lime juice together in a small bowl. Top the fillets with this mixture.
