How to Make Cheese-Stuffed Pork and Beef Pljeskavica

  1. For the ground meat:

Add the pork mince, ground beef, allspice powder, green chili, and garlic to a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix them until even. Set aside.

  2. For the filling:

Add the mozzarella, bacon, garlic, and chili flakes to a bowl. Mix them until even. Set aside.

  3. Separately place two parchment papers on the work surface. Add 1/2 of the ground meat mixture on one of them and press it to form a 0.5-inch thick disc. Do the same with the remaining ground meat on the second parchment paper.
  4. Add the mozzarella mixture on one of the meat discs and evenly spread it starting from approximately 0.5-inch from the disc’s edge. Add the second disc right on top. Seal them.
  5. Heat a grill pan over low heat and add the stuffed patty. Turn the heat to medium and grill for 12 minutes on both sides.
