Are you in the mood for some savory, roasted pork? We have just the perfect recipe, but we warn you it does help to have a bit of time to spare. Add the pork to your crockpot, along with spices and other ingredients, and let the slow-cooker do the rest of the work for you. What to flavor the pork with? We've gone for some ginger, soy sauce, honey, and Worchester sauce. Feel free though to choose your own favorite marinade.

Ingredients Needed for Sweet and Sour Roasted Pork

1 pound pork loin
1 teaspoon ginger, thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves, sliced
1 lime
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
2 cups of vegetable stock

How to Make Sweet and Sour Roasted Pork

  1. Add the pork loin to your slow cooker. Add the ginger and garlic.
  2. Slice the lime into halves. Squeeze the juice out 1 half into the slow cooker. Slice the remaining half and add the slices as well.
  3. Add the worcherstershire sauce, soy sauce, and honey. Pour the vegetable stock.
  4. Set the slow cooker at high temperature and cook the pork for the next 4-6 hours.
