Nothing wrong can come out of a delicious salmon steak! Flavor the fish with a nice drizzle of olive oil and fish sauce and serve it next to some boiled potatoes. For best results, add some butter and a few mint leaves over the potatoes and cover them with a plate. Leave them for a few minutes and the fresh mint smell will surely bring you to dinner!

Ingredients Needed for Fried Salmon With Buttered Potatoes

4 potatoes
salt
2 salmons steaks, approximately 6 ounces each
pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon fish sauce
2 ounces of butter
6 mint leaves

How to Make Fried Salmon With Buttered Potatoes

  1. Preheat the oven to 360°F/180°C.
  2. Peel off the skin of the potatoes and add them in a saucepan full of boiling water. Add a pinch of salt and boil them for about 20 minutes.
  3. Season the salmon steaks with pepper, olive oil, and fish sauce.
  4. Bake it in the oven for 8 minutes.
  5. Move the boiled potatoes in a bowl and add butter and mint leaves. Cover and let them rest for about 20 minutes.
  6. Serve the salmon steaks with the buttered potatoes.
