Ingredients Needed for White Bean Stew
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 medium onion, minced
1 celery, chopped
10 ounces of canned white beans
pepper
salt
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 bay leaf
3 cups of water
How to Make White Bean Stew
- Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan over low heat and add the onion. Cook and stir until tender.
- Add the celery and stir it in. Add the beans and do the same.
- Season with salt and pepper, add the thyme, rosemary, bay, and water. Stir in, then simmer for 20 minutes.
