Ingredients Needed for Warm Shallot, Pear, and Chicken Salad

1 tablespoon olive oil
2 pears, sliced
1 shallot, chopped
1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
1 tablespoon dijon mustard
2 carrots, sliced
8 ounces of cooked chicken breast, cubed
1 tablespoon walnuts
salt
pepper
½ lettuce head
1-ounce blue cheese, chopped

How to Make Warm Shallot, Pear, and Chicken Salad

  1. Add the olive oil in a skillet and cook the sliced pears over low heat, while stirring, for a minute or two. Set aside.
  2. Using the same skillet, cook the shallot until tender. Add the balsamic glaze and mustard and stir, then add the sliced carrots, chicken breast, and walnuts while stirring. Finally, add the cooked pears and season with salt and pepper, then stir.
  3. Move the mixture to a bowl and add the lettuce and blue cheese. Toss everything using two spatulas.
