Ingredients Needed for Vegan Chocolate Tart
For the first layer:
7 ounces of date
4 ounces of walnut
½ cup cocoa powder
1 tablespoon vanilla powder
1 tablespoon coconut oil
salt
For the second layer:
3 ounces of brazil nut
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
How to Make Vegan Chocolate Tart
- Preheat the oven to 360°F/180°C.
- Grab your food processor and add the dates, walnuts, cocoa, vanilla, coconut oil, and salt.
- Set it up at medium speed and process everything until you get a sticky dough.
- Place the mixture on the bottom of a round cake tin, approximately 6 inches (15 cm) in diameter. Press it with your fingers to level it, and evenly spread it in the pan. Freeze it for half an hour.
- For the second layer, add the brazil nuts, coconut oil, and cocoa powder in the food processor. Process them until smooth.
- Add the mixture on top of the first layer.
- Freeze the tart for half an hour.
