Ingredients Needed for Tzatziki

1 large cucumber
1 cup Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons of fresh dill, chopped
2 teaspoons of red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons of salt
pepper
2 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
olive oil for garnishing
mint leaves for garnishing

How to Make Tzatziki

  1. Place the cucumber on the work surface and cut off its ends, then peel it. Cut it in half, then longitudinally halve both halves of the cucumber.
  2. Scrape the seeds out using a teaspoon. Grate the 4 pieces of cucumber, add them to a strainer, and press the liquid out using a teaspoon.
  3. Transfer the grated cucumber to a bowl. Add the Greek yogurt, dill, red wine vinegar, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice too. Season with the salt and some pepper. Mix all until even.
  4. Serve garnished with olive oil and mint leaves.
