A recipe from the cuisine, allowed in a diet.

Making your own cheeseburgers can be surprisingly rewarding. Use normal buns but make your own patties by flavoring and mixing turkey mince, spinach, and feta cheese. Pair this with some vegetable freshness and creamy tzatziki.

Ingredients Needed for Turkey and Tzatziki Cheeseburgers

For the burger patty:

10 ounces of turkey mince
1 cup frozen spinach, thawed
3 ounces of feta cheese, crumbled
1 teaspoon dried oregano
salt
pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
4 lettuce leaves
8 tablespoons of tzatziki
2 medium tomatoes, sliced
½ medium cucumber, sliced
1 medium red onion, sliced
4 burger buns

How to Make Turkey and Tzatziki Cheeseburgers

  1. For the burger patty:
Add the turkey mince and spinach (after you squeeze the water out of it) to a bowl. Crumble the feta cheese, then add the dried oregano, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix all until even using your hands.
  2. Form burger patties from the mixture. We’ve got 4 of them. Grill for 4-6 minutes on each side.
  3. Cut a burger bun in half. Add 1 lettuce leaf, a burger patty, and 2 tablespoons of tzatziki.
  4. Top with 3 tomato slices, 3-4 cucumber slices, 3-4 onion rings or slices, and the bun’s upper half. Do this with the other 3 burger buns.
