Tuna meat is healthy and nutritious and it has a lovely firm texture, especially when you cook a steak. Make a puree with sweet corn and coconut milk, which will upgrade the tuna taste and let you present this dish in style. Grill the tuna and enhance its taste even more by first coating it with a Hoisin sauce mixture.

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over low heat and add the dried coriander and pine nuts. Cook and stir until the pine nuts start changing color. Add the celery too and cook it until it starts to have golden brown spots.

Add the sweet corn, cook and stir until it starts getting golden brown spots. Season with the Himalayan salt and pepper. Add the coconut milk, stir, and cook for 1-2 minutes more.

Pour this mix into a blender and blend it. Set aside.

Add the Hoisin sauce, dried coriander, and ginger powder to a small bowl and stir to combine them.

Coat the tuna steak with the Hoisin sauce mixture, then fry it on both sides in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown.

Serve the steak and sweet corn puree garnished with some raw veggies of your choice.

Well, I love to eat! I guess I always did. Tasty foods, traditional foods, fast-foods, healthy foods and, again, not so healthy ones. You name it. However, in time I kind of built on this habit and, slowly but surely, I began to turn toward the Mediterranean cuisine and, occasionally, even the Mediterranean diet. I am a curious and inquisitive person. So, pretty soon, I started trying to recreate what I’ve tasted or seen. At first, this proved to be hard work for my better half, as she supervised my new experiments. But lately, results really started to show, so wish me luck!
