Ingredients Needed for Trofie Pasta With Chicken and Pesto


For the pasta:

water
salt
1 pound trofie pasta

For the chicken-veggie mixture:

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
5 ounces of chicken breast, chopped
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon dried oregano
½ tablespoon chili flakes
½ red bell peppers, jcut in sticks
0.5 green bell pepper, cut in sticks
0.5 orange bell pepper, cut in sticks

½ cup pesto

How to Make Trofie Pasta With Chicken and Pesto

  1. For the pasta:

    Fill a medium-sized cooking pot with salted water and heat it. Add the pasta, stir once, and boil for 12-14 minutes. Set aside.

  2. For the chicken-veggie mixture:

    Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breast, onion powder, dried oregano, and chili flakes. Cook and stir until the meat starts changing color.

  3. Add the bell peppers, season with the salt and some pepper, and stir a little more.
  4. Add the cooked trofie pasta and stir for 1 minute or so. Add the pesto and mix until even, then remove from heat.
