Ingredients Needed for Trofie Pasta With Chicken and Pesto
For the pasta:
1 pound trofie pasta
For the chicken-veggie mixture:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
5 ounces of chicken breast, chopped
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon dried oregano
½ tablespoon chili flakes
½ red bell peppers, jcut in sticks
0.5 green bell pepper, cut in sticks
0.5 orange bell pepper, cut in sticks
½ cup pesto
How to Make Trofie Pasta With Chicken and Pesto
- For the pasta:
Fill a medium-sized cooking pot with salted water and heat it. Add the pasta, stir once, and boil for 12-14 minutes. Set aside.
- For the chicken-veggie mixture:
Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breast, onion powder, dried oregano, and chili flakes. Cook and stir until the meat starts changing color.
- Add the bell peppers, season with the salt and some pepper, and stir a little more.
- Add the cooked trofie pasta and stir for 1 minute or so. Add the pesto and mix until even, then remove from heat.
