When you are bored of simple French fries, make these potato fritters. They are easy and quick to make. You can eat the fritters any time of the day! Just grab one and go to work!

Ingredients Needed for Swiss Potato Fritters

½ cup shredded potato
1 egg
1 teaspoon corn starch
1 teaspoon baking powder
salt
pepper
vegetable oil for frying

How to Cook Swiss Potato Fritters

  1. Put in a medium bowl the shredded potatoes.
  2. Add the egg, the corn starch, and the baking powder.
  3. Sprinkle some salt and pepper.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet.
  5. Combine all the ingredients with your hands.
  6. Form little fritters.
  7. Cook the fritters in vegetable oil, on both sides.
  8. If you want, you can grate some parmesan on the fritters, and serve them with lettuce and mayonnaise.
