Sweet Corn Puff Pastry Rolls

When salty cravings hit, make some crispy rolls with sweet corn, bacon and mozzarella. Here you have the quantities for 4 servings. But, if you have a small party, multiply them!

Ingredients Needed for Sweet Corn Puff Pastry Rolls

2 ounces of bacon
¼ red bell pepper, chopped
3 ounces of sweet corn
1 puff pastry
½ cup shredded mozzarella
2 spring onions s, chopped
1 egg

How to Cook Sweet Corn Puff Pastry Rolls

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F/180 degrees C.
  2. Cut the bacon in tiny slices.
  3. Fry the bacon in a skillet, without using vegetable oil.
  4. Remove the bacon and cook, in the same greased skillet, the red bell pepper.
  5. Add the sweet corn and stir.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and spread on it the sweet corn mixture and the fried bacon.
  8. Add the mozzarella and the spring onion.
  9. Roll the puff pastry sheet from one edge to the other.
  10. Cut slices.
  11. Whisk the egg and coat with it the sweet corn puff pastry rolls.
  12. Bake for 20 minutes.
