Ingredients Needed for Sweet and Spicy Pork Ribs

1 chili pepper
1 chili pepper
12 ounces of pork ribs
¼ cup white wine
¼ cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons of honey
3 lemons
1 tablespoon white sugar
thyme

How to Make Sweet and Spicy Pork Ribs

  1. Preheat the oven to 380 degrees F/190 degrees C.
  2. Cut each chili into halves, lengthwise. Remove their seeds, then cut them into thin slices.
  3. Cut the rack of ribs into pieces (2 ribs for each piece). Put the ribs in a bowl.
  4. Add the white wine, soy sauce, olive oil, the chili slices, brown sugar, and 1 tablespoon of honey.
  5. Add the lemon slices and mix everything with your fingers, so that the ribs absorb the marinade.
  6. Lay the ribs in a ceramic baking tray, then pour the marinade over them.
  7. Roast for 30 minutes.
  8. Meanwhile, put about 1/2 cup (125 ml) of water into a small pan, on medium heat.
  9. Add the white sugar and the remaining tablespoon of honey. Mix and let it simmer, to reduce the liquid and get a syrupy mixture.
  10. Remove the ribs from the oven and spread sweet syrup on them, using a silicone brush.
  11. If you want, garnish with fresh thyme. Serve with a side!
