Sweet and Spicy Chicken Tenders

Today we decided to play with an all-time classic recipe: chicken tenders! For more flavor, we marinated the chicken with soy sauce, sesame oil, and mango chili sauce. These additions will surely spice things up and bring joy to all your taste buds!

Ingredients Needed for Sweet and Spicy Chicken Tenders

12 ounces of chicken breast
salt
1 tablespoon chili flakes
½ lime
2 tablespoons of sesame oil
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
2 tablespoons of mango chili sauce
2½ cups of flour
2 cups of breadcrumbs
3 eggs
vegetable oil for frying

How to Cook Sweet and Spicy Chicken Tenders

  1. Slice the chicken into thin tenders.
  2. Add them in a bowl and season with salt, chili flakes, lime juice, sesame oil, soy sauce and mango chili sauce.
  3. Stir and marinate the chicken for 30-60 minutes, keeping it in the fridge.
  4. Mix 1/2 cup of flour with breadcrumbs.
  5. Break the eggs and whisk them, to make egg wash.
  6. Coat the chicken with flour, egg wash and breadcrumbs.
  7. Deep-fry the chicken until golden and crispy, about 6-7 minutes.
  8. Serve the chicken tenders with your favorite dip.
