Almonds are some of the healthiest nuts you can find right now. And they taste great too. Today we've used them as the main ingredient for our sweet pasta recipe. We've made some tagliatelle from scratch and we've served them with a mixture of almonds, honey, and milk, flavored with orange zest and fresh mint.

Ingredients Needed for Sweet Almond Tagliatelle

1 ounce butter
¼ cup almonds
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup milk
orange zest
fresh mint
8 ounces of homemade tagliatelle, cooked

How to Make Sweet Almond Tagliatelle

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add the butter in it and melt it.
  2. Add the almonds and drizzle with honey.
  3. Stir for 1-2 minutes and pour the milk.
  4. Stir, and bring to a boil. Shred some lemon zest and cook for 8 minutes.
  5. Add everything to the blender along with the fresh mint. Blend everything until smooth.
  6. Add the cooked tagliatelle in a large bowl along with the almond mixture.
  7. Mix well and serve!

    1. Hi, Hoang! We used unroasted almonds, but still, we cooked them a little in butter, honey, and milk. And the butter was unsalted. Ta-daaa!
