How to Make Sugar-Glazed Coffee Biscuits

  1. For the dough, add the butter and flour to a large bowl.
  2. Use your hands and slowly mix until the mixture looks like crumbles. Add salt, baking powder, sugar, and mix again.
  3. Add the egg, maple syrup, heavy cream, and a bit of water to make the mixture a tad more liquid.
  4. Use your hands and mix until the liquid is absorbed, and then add the pecans.
  5. Add the powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F/175 degrees C.
  7. Dust your working space with flour and place the dough in the middle. Level it with a rolling pin.

  9. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the triangles on it.
  10. Slide the tray into the oven for the next 25 minutes.
  11. Add the powdered sugar to a large bowl. Add the milk, coffee, and maple syrup. Use a tablespoon and mix until smooth.
  12. Dip the biscuits in the coffee glaze and serve them with some crushed pistachios.
