Did you ever try to use lemons instead of other vegetables to form small baskets and fill them with different mixtures? If no, try this: remove the juicy pulp of the lemon and stuff it with bacon, cheese, spring onion, and some spicy peppers and then bake it! It's something worth trying!

Ingredients Needed for Stuffed Lemon Baskets

2 lemons
½ cup shredded mozzarella
2 bacon
3 cherry tomatoes
¼ cup spring onion, sliced
1 habanero pepper

How to Make Stuffed Lemon Baskets

  1. Preheat the oven to 430 degrees F/220 degrees C.
  2. Cut the lemons edges and remove the pulp, so that you obtain 2 baskets.
  3. Divide 1/4 cup of mozzarella in equal quantities and put them in each lemon basket.
  4. Chop the bacon and put it in the baskets.
  5. Cut the cherry tomatoes in halves and put 3 halves in each lemon basket.
  6. Add the spring onion slices.
  7. Slice the habanero pepper and add some slices in each basket.
  8. Top the lemon baskets with the remaining mozzarella.
  9. Bake for 15 minutes.
