If it’s too cold outside for your taste, why not try a spicy chicken salad to warm you up? Just be sure to cook the chicken in a generous amount of jalapeno and garlic, and when almost done, add some iceberg lettuce. Put the salad into a bowl and drizzle a small amount of soy sauce, for a bit of Asian aroma.

Ingredients Needed for Spicy Warm Chicken Salad

    5 garlic cloves
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4.5 ounces of chicken breast, sliced into thin strips
    1 jalapeno, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 ounces of iceberg lettuce, chopped
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 tablespoon soy sauce

How to Make Spicy Warm Chicken Salad

  1. Superficially crush the garlic cloves with a knife and season them with salt.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic cloves and leave them in the pan for about 1 minute. Remove them and add the chicken. Cook it for 5 minutes and add jalapeno and red bell pepper. Stir, and cook it for 5 more minutes.
  3. Pour olive oil over the iceberg lettuce and add it in the skillet. Reduce the heat and cook for 2-3 more minutes.
  4. Serve the salad with a light drizzle of soy sauce!
