Ingredients Needed for Spicy Cabbage With Smoked Sausage
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon paprika powder
½ onion, sliced
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 cabbage head, shredded
¼ red cabbage head, shredded

4 sausages s, sliced
1 spring onion, chopped

How to Make Spicy Cabbage With Smoked Sausage
- Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add allspice, cayenne pepper, paprika powder, and the sliced onion. Cook them for about 2 minutes. When browned, add the turmeric and mustard seeds. Add the shredded cabbage and saute it for 5 minutes, until it softens. Season with salt and pepper. Throw in the red cabbage and continue cooking for 3 more minutes.
- Add the smoked sausage and cover the pan with a lid for the next 5 minutes. Remove the lid, add spring onion and coriander. Give it a good stir, and turn off the heat.
