1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt
8 ounces of sirloin steak
½ teaspoon paprika powder
pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon butter
2 thyme sprigs

Ingredients

Steps

1
Done

Lay the cucumber on your working surface and peel it.

2
Done

Slice it into quarters and remove its seeds. After you're done shred it.

3
Done

Pass the cucumber through a strainer in order to remove the water inside it.

4

Add the dried cucumber in a small bowl. Add the greek yogurt, zucchini, dill, garlic, and parsley. Pour the lime juice, olive oil, and salt. Use a teaspoon and mix until smooth.

5
Done

Take the meat out of the fridge and let it rest for 2 minutes. Pour a small drizzle of olive oil over it and season it with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

7

Add the meat and cook it for 3-4 minutes per side. Flip the steak and add butter in the skillet.

I guess I’ve always had a passion for cooking ever since I was a kid when I was mom’s little helper in the kitchen. Even though I wasn’t actually cooking, I was a picky eater, and I focused on bringing more flavor to her dishes, by adding extra herbs and spices I felt might enrich it. Time has passed, and I haven’t changed that much: I am now my girlfriend’s helper.
