Ingredients Needed for Simple Waffles
2 ounces of butter
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 eggs
¼ cup heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
⅓ cup flour
powdered sugar for garnishing
How to Make Simple Waffles
- Add the butter and sugar to a bowl and mix until even. Then mix in the eggs.
- Keep adding the whipping cream, vanilla extract, some salt, the baking powder, and flour. Mix more until smooth.
- Use the batter in 1-2 tablespoon batches to cook for 4-5 minutes in a waffle iron. We’ve ended up with 4 waffles, but your number may differ.
- Dust them with powdered sugar and top them with jam or any other sweet topping of your choosing.
