Salmon Glazed With Maple Syrup and Mustard

Cooking salmon is probably nothing new to many of you. However, the beauty lies in the details. The coating can make all the difference in flavor. Here, for example, we used a mixture of Dijon mustard, garlic, and maple syrup. Oh, and we cooked everything in butter.

Ingredients Needed for Salmon Glazed With Maple Syrup and Mustard

    2 teaspoons of dijon mustard
    2 teaspoons of garlic powder
    1 tablespoon maple syrup
    1 ounce butter
    8 ounces of salmon fillet
    salad for serving
    1 lemon slice

How to Make Salmon Glazed With Maple Syrup and Mustard

  1. Add the mustard, garlic powder, salt & pepper, and maple syrup in a smaller bowl and mix them using a teaspoon.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over low heat.
  3. Cook the salmon on both sides, taking care to also coat it with the mustard mixture with a kitchen brush. Cook it until golden brown or for 8-9 minutes in total.
  4. Serve the fillets garnished with salad and a lemon slice.
