Ingredients Needed for Salmon and Spinach Puff Pastry

1 ounce butter
1 spinach
salt
2 garlic cloves
1.5 ounces of parmesan
12 ounces of salmon
⅔ puff pastry sheet, thawed
1 egg
½ cup milk

How to Make Salmon and Spinach Puff Pastry

  1. Preheat the oven to 360 degrees F/180 degrees C.
  2. Heat a cast-iron skillet to a medium high temperature and melt the butter in it.
  3. Add the spinach in the skillet.
  4. Sprinkle salt and crush garlic over the spinach.
  5. Cook the spinach until it softens and changes color to a deeper green.
  6. Transfer it to a large bowl.
  7. Add the ground parmesan in the bowl and mix them together.
  8. Flour your work space.
  9. Roll out the puff pastry.
  10. Add the salmon fillet in the middle of the sheet.
  11. Spread the spinach and parmesan mix on top of the fillet.
  12. Wrap the salmon in the puff pastry.
  13. Remove the excess on the edges.
  14. Lightly carve the top of the puff pastry with lines.
  15. Make egg wash by whisking the egg and milk together.
  16. Use a brush to spread the egg wash on the puff pastry.
  17. Cook it in the oven for 30 minutes.
