You need 15 minutes tops to put together this twist on the colorful Salade Nicoise. Refreshing yet pretty hearty, it has green beans, lettuce, and juicy cherry tomatoes, but also tuna fish and boiled egg. The sour dressing gives it the necessary acidic kick.

Ingredients Needed for Salade Nicoise With Tuna and Green Beans


For the dressing:

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon dijon mustard

For the salad:

3 ounces of frozen green beans
5 ounces of lettuce, chopped
2 ounces of canned tuna
1 ounce olives, pitted and sliced
3 ounces of cherry tomatoes, halved
salt
pepper
1 boiled egg, wedged

How to Cook Salade Nicoise With Tuna and Green Beans

  1. For the dressing:

    Add the ingredients for the dressing to a small bowl. Mix them until smooth using a teaspoon. Set aside.

  2. For the salad:

    Fill a medium-sized cooking pot halfway with water and bring it to a boil.

  3. Add the frozen green beans. Cook for 2 minutes while constantly moving them. Remove them and set aside.
  4. Add the lettuce, canned tuna, olives, cherry tomatoes, cooked green beans, and boiled egg to a bowl.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with dressing, then mix all using two spatulas.
