Rib eye steaks are made for special days. So when you cook one to perfection, give it the perfect companion: mushrooms in heavy cream sauce, with a pinch of coriander. After that, even a regular day can feel like a celebration!

Ingredients Needed for Rib Eye Steak and Mushrooms

1 steak (6 ounces)
vegetable oil for cooking
salt
1 cup mushrooms
1 cup heavy cream
3 coriander leaves

How to Make Rib Eye Steak and Mushrooms

  1. Heat oil in a cast-iron skillet to a medium high temperature.
  2. Add the rib eye steak. Sprinkle salt all over it.
  3. Fry the steak on each side for 4-5 minutes, depending on how you like it.
  4. Heat oil in another cast-iron skillet to a medium high temperature.
  5. Add the mushrooms, cut in half.
  6. Cook them until golden brown.
  7. Add salt.
  8. Pour the heavy cream over the mushrooms.
  9. Add the chopped coriander leaves.
  10. Cook the mushrooms for a few more minutes.
  11. Serve the steak and the mushrooms together.
