Usually, sweets are made with lots of sugar, but not these raw vegan candies! Combine different types of dried fruits, give them round shapes, and coat them with coconut flakes. These candies are not only full of flavor, but also very healthy! If you follow a strict raw-vegan diet, you can skip the food coloring!

Ingredients Needed for Raw Vegan Candies

8 dried apricots
8 dates
8 figs
8 dried plums
8 mint leaves, fresh
½ cup almond flakes
½ cup coconut flakes
1 chili
1 tomato

How to Make Raw Vegan Candies

  1. Chop the dried apricots, dates, figs, dried plums, and mint leaves.
  2. Put them all in a bowl, add the almond flakes and mix.
  3. Divide in 2 small bowls the coconut flakes. Add 2 drops of red food coloring and 2 drops of green food coloring in each bowl. Mix well to color the coconut flakes.
  4. Using your hands, form small balls from the dried fruit mixture.
  5. Coat each ball with coconut flakes, in different colors.
  6. You can serve them the way they are or with sorbet.
