There’s always an excuse for making a nice pizza at home. First, you get to use your favorite ingredients. Secondly, it’s cheaper and way better than takeaways. For a more authentic experience, season the tomato sauce with Italian spices, like oregano, basil and garlic. It’s definitely worth it!

Ingredients Needed for Prosciutto and Salami Pizza

1 cup tomato sauce
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 tablespoon red wine
1 teaspoon dried oregano
dried basil
1 pizza dough
1 tablespoon olive oil
3.5 ounces of mozzarella
6 prosciuttos slices
6 salamis slices

How to Make Prosciutto and Salami Pizza

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F/200°C.
  2. Heat a skillet and start making the pizza sauce.
  3. Add the garlic, red wine, oregano, and basil.
  4. Remove it from the heat when thickened.
  5. Use a dinner plate to make a round shape out of the pizza dough.
  6. Add the olive oil and spread the tomato sauce over the round pizza.
  7. Top it with mozzarella, prosciutto, and salami.
  8. Bake the pizza for 12-14 minutes.
  9. Serve it with a few basil leaves on top.
