Potato crust pizza? That’s something you don’t see every day! First thing you need to know is that there’s no baking required. Secondly, the cheese will be very important, because it’s what keeps the potatoes stand together. We’ve topped the pizza with prosciutto, arugula and an egg. It’s an amazing combo, and we’re sure you won’t miss the classic pizza dough!

Ingredients Needed for Potato-Crust Pizza

    4 mushrooms
    3 ounces of mozzarella
    2 potatoes
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    ¼ cup shredded parmesan
    ¼ cup tomato sauce
    arugula
    1 egg
    pepper
    chili
    4 prosciuttos

How to Make Potato-Crust Pizza

  1. Slice the mozzarella and the mushrooms.
  2. Thinly slice the potatoes.
  3. Heat a skillet and add the vegetable oil. Roundly place the potatoes so that they cover the bottom of the skillet.
  4. Top it with parmesan, put a lid on, and let it simmer for 5-8 minutes.
  5. Remove the lid, and add the tomato sauce and the mushrooms.
  6. Add the mozzarella and the arugula. Break the egg and add it in the middle of the skillet.
  7. Put a lid on again and remove when the egg seems cooked.
  8. Season it with pepper and chili flakes.
