A recipe from the cuisine, allowed in a / diet.

Halloween is a good excuse for all of us to eat popsicles. Homemade ones, that is. It’s as easy as melting enough white chocolate to coat the Oreos. Of course, you’ll need some popsicle sticks, some technique, and artistic skills to give them a mummy look.

Ingredients Needed for Oreo Mummy Pops

9 ounces of white chocolate
6 ounces of oreos (1 package, 12 Oreos)
2 ounces of dark chocolate (or chocolate syrup)

How to Make Oreo Mummy Pops

  1. Melt the white chocolate:

Fill a medium cooking pot halfway with water and bring it to a boil. Lay a heatproof bowl on top and add the white chocolate in it. Start melting the chocolate, mixing with a spatula in the process.

  2. Insert a popsicle stick into each Oreo. Coat them with melted white chocolate, lay them onto a parchment paper-lined dish, then refrigerate for 60 minutes.
  3. Melt the dark chocolate:

Fill a medium cooking pot halfway with water and bring it to a boil. Lay a heatproof bowl on top and add the dark chocolate in it. Start melting the chocolate, mixing with a spatula in the process.

  4. Remove from the fridge and start decorating the Oreos. Use melted dark chocolate to pin the eyes. Transfer the remaining melted white chocolate to a piping bag and use it to make the shroud strips.
