Oreo and Strawberry Ice Cream Cake

Strawberry ice cream on top of a crunchy Oreo layer is probably the highlight of this cake. Also, this easy to make dessert has a really elegant look for a frozen one. For the best results we recommend flavoring the strawberries with honey, cognac, and lime zest.

Ingredients Needed for Oreo and Strawberry Ice Cream Cake

1 cup heavy cream
1 lime
10 ounces of strawberries
¼ cup honey
2 tablespoons of cognac
lime juice
15 Oreo cookies
whipped cream

How to Cook Oreo and Strawberry Ice Cream Cake

  1. Pour the whipping cream into the blender and blend it for 30 seconds. It should be still liquid.
  2. Shred lime zest, add strawberries, honey, cognac, and lime juice. Mix it until smooth.
  3. Place around 10-12 Oreo biscuits on the bottom of a round cake tin, approximately 10 inches (25 cm) in diameter. The base should be completely covered.
  4. Freeze the cake for 2 hours.
  5. Crush the remaining biscuits.
  6. When the cake is ready, take it out and decorate it on the sides with whipped cream. Add the crushed biscuits on top.
  7. Serve it cold!
